I have a twin brother Ki. Who, in the comfort and seemingly unthreatening home of the womb, pilfered the highs of my parents genetic formula. Leaving me to lick up the dregs of waste, like a perfect Darwinian story.
He has also just started a blog, but deeply procrastinates, so expect to see very little over at kiyoong.blogspot.com

Ahh your memory serves you well! Swallow Poetry was indeed mine, but unfortunately, someone stole my domain name :( So only just got round to setting up another blog!
ReplyDeleteI remember how we set our blogs up at around the same time, and yours was one of the few I'd regulary read! Great to see how much your site has developed in over a year!
Hope you're keeping happy and toasty :-D X
ha ha... I think you two are more like different finches with different beaks... same ability, different outlet. I hardly ever rave over another blog, but yours is the best I have found. Likewise, your brother in an amazing artist. I sketch, but my stuff looks like kindergarten scribble compared to his. I'd say your parents did a great job with both of you.
ReplyDeleteCongrats!! I saw your piece on Contemporary Literary Horizon. "Vultures" is a great poem. I really dig it. The whole write up was good too.
ReplyDeleteI always wished I had a twin, and one just like you. Maybe I do. My parents were fond of keeping secrets.
